BRC Global Standard for Packaging Materials- Issue –6

A safely packaged food supply of food and other hygiene sensitive products is essential for sustaining humanity and quality of human life. The packaging materials for food and non-food products supply must not endanger consumer health through physical, biological, and chemical contaminants and it must ensure that the desirable characteristics of product inside it are retained throughout the production, transportation, handling, processing, packaging, and distribution. This 2-days in-depth course has been designed to enable delegates to gain a full understanding of the requirements of Issue 6 and emphasizes clear communication of packaging materials safety quality and authenticity concepts, hazards, preventive measures, auditing, legal compliance, effective use of corrective action, and follow-up to ensure successful attainment of company business including preparation, the audit, nonconformities, corrective actions and BRCGS’s certification.
